Antes de unirse a DDB Latina en 2012, Juan Luis fue
Vice-Presidente de Planeamiento en DDB México
desde 2009. Comenzó su carrera en DDB Colombia y
pasó algunos años en OMD Australia antes de regresar
a Colombia y continuar en OMD y DDB, un grupo de
agencias con más de 600 empleados. Allí, tomó el
rol de VP de Planeamiento Estratégico para todas las
unidades de la compañía.
En 2007 fue nombrado “Advertising Person of theYear”
en su país. Durante los últimos años fue responsable
de las tareas de planeamiento de medios y marca
a nivel regional y local para empresas como Nokia,
Pepsi, Bridgestone, Clorox, Suramericana (Insurance),
ExxonMobil, Telefonica, Bancolombia, J&J, y Henkel,
entre otras.
Con un título en Comunicación de la Universidad
UPB de Colombia y un Master de la Universidad
Australiana RMIT, desde 2008 Isaza es miembro del
Grupo de Futuros Planeamientos, que incluye al talento
estratégico más destacado de DDBWorldwide.
Before joining DDB Latina in 2012, Juan was Planning VP
at DDB Mexico since 2009. He began his career at DDB
Colombia and worked some years at OMD Australia, then
he come back to Colombia to work at OMD and DDB,
a company with more than 600 employees. There he
developed himself as Strategic Planning for all the agency
units.
In 2007 he was named“Advertising Person of theYear” in
the last years,he has been responsible for the
tasks of media and brand planning at regional and local
level for Nokia, Pepsi, Bridgestone, Clorox, Suramericana,
ExxonMobil,Telefonica,Bancolombia,J&J,and Henkel.
He graduated with a BA in Communications in the UPB
University of Colombia and obtained a Master´s degree in
the Australia’s RMIT University. Since 2008 Isaza is member
of theGroupof Future Planning,where themost outstanding
strategic talent of DDBWorldwide is included.

Está detrás de algunos de los mayores éxitos
cinematográficos argentinos de los últimos años como
“El secreto de sus ojos” y “Relatos salvajes”, además
de convertirse en uno de los conductores televisivos
más versátiles del momento. Es guionista, productor y
periodista, y desde 2005 conduce el Pre-Show exclusivo
de TNT que antecede la transmisión de la entrega de los
Oscar. En 2009 fue productor asociado de El Secreto
de sus ojos, el aclamado film de Juan José Campanella
ganador del Oscar; y cinco años después fue productor
asociado de la película Relatos Salvajes, el filmde Damián
Szifrón seleccionado al Óscar como mejor película
de habla no inglesa. Sus proyectos cinematográficos
incluyen los largometrajes “Todos Tenemos un Plan”,
protagonizado por Viggo Mortensen y Soledad Villamil;
“All in”, dirigido por Daniel Burman y protagonizado por
Jorge Drexler y Valeria Bertucelli; “Fase 7”, con Federico
Luppi y co-producida por Steven Schneider y “Un Cuento
Chino” de Sebastián Borenzstein.
Associate producer in some of the biggest Argentinean
film hits such as “The Secret in Their Eyes” (El Secreto
de sus ojos) and “Relatos Salvajes” (Wild Tales). He is a
movie producer, with an extensive background in film
journalism, TV production and scriptwriting. Since 2005
Axel has been the co-host of CNN/TNT’s Latin-American
Oscar pre show. He was associate producer of Juan José
Campanella’s acclaimed feature “The Secret in Their
Eyes” (El Secreto de sus ojos,2009),Oscar-winner picture
in the of Best Foreign language category in 2010. In 2015
he also was associate producer of Damián Szifrón’s film
“Relatos Salvajes” (Wild Tales), nominated for the Best
Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards. His
recently film projects includes “Todos Tenemos un Plan”,
starred by Vigo Mortensen and SoledadVillamil;“All in”,
directed by Daniel Burman and starred by Jorge Drexler
andValeria Bertucelli;“Fase 7”, starred by Federico Luppi
an co produced with Steven Schneider and “Un Cuento
Chino”,a film created by Sebastián Borenzstein.
